Exagres Proyect: Cofrentes spa in Valencia
A new project using the Marbles series from Exagres, in which the Travertino model enhances the innate elegance of the Balneario de Cofrentes while meeting the inherently demanding technical requirements.
A number of innovative projects that Exagres has been working on in recent months will soon be complete. Various recently renovated spaces, such as the Balneario de Cofrentes, will welcome new users in the coming months to enjoy their impressive installations safely and comfortably.
ANOTHER INTEGRATED DESIGN PROJECT BY EXAGRES
Comprehensive renovation of the swimming pool area lies at the core of this new project. A redesign of the pool tank is one of the most noticeable aesthetic changes. Using the 33x66.5 cm format base and C-1 finish from the Marbles Travertino..
The flowing aesthetic throughout the space was another objective for the design, in which the various anti-slip finishes in the Marbles series from Exagres become extremely important for user safety. By applying the 60x120 cm base and C-1 finish from the same collection to the wall tiles and the 33x66.5 cm base and C-3 finish for the pool surround areas, overall aesthetic harmony is achieved for the entire project. This effect is also extended to the building’s exterior by incorporating the same Travertino marble design on the façade columns.
SPECIAL PIECES FOR TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS
The implementation of this complex project is especially significant because of the major technical requirements involved. The need for special pieces to cover specific and unique areas required considerable diversity, strength and durability in the chosen material for a successful conclusion to the project.
The availability of specific pieces for swimming pools in all the Exagres collections enabled this part of the Balneario de Cofrentes to be fully integrated aesthetically. Choosing the 33x120 cm format square step tread and C-3 finish in combination with the technical solutions offered by the Marbles series for unique features (including the internal cove and internal cap) made the initially proposed design entirely feasible.
